Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shizuka Sata is a physical therapist. She has worked with musicians suffering from physical illnesses in her clinical practice. In particular, through her experience in providing rehabilitation to guitarists who had difficulty playing due to trauma, she became aware of the problem that research findings on the physical functions of musicians have not been accumulated. This lack has made it impossible to set rehabilitation goals and select evidence-based treatment methods. Based on this experience, she has engaged in research activities aimed at contributing to medical research for musicians. In the past, she has also worked as a sports trainer for a university swimming team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
