Profile

Based in Tokyo, Keigo Yoshida is an artist and scientist whose work explores sound through neuroscience and computational science, integrating these insights into audiovisual performances and installations.

His major works include Propagation (A/V performance) and Mineral Neurons (A/V performance), both presented at Sónar+D Barcelona 2025, as well as liberated frequencies (A/V performance & installation). liberated frequencies was produced in collaboration with METI and Rhizomatiks in Flying Tokyo 2024, presented at IRCAM Forum 2025 Hors-les-Murs in Taipei, performed at IRCAM Forum 2026 in Enghien-les-Bains in Paris and Sónar Istanbul 2026, exhibited at Sónar+D Barcelona 2026.

As a VJ, he did visuals for artists such as SE SO NEON and TOWA TEI at Radio Sakamoto Uday, a tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto, and contributed performances to Beyond 2045 by Nao Tokui and Daito Manabe. He also participated as a visual and software programmer in FUTURE 能–NOH STAGE at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. As a DJ, performing at venues including Zero Tokyo and Spincoaster Music Bar.

As a researcher, he has presented his work at international conferences such as The Neurosciences and Music VIII, held in Helsinki.
