Profile
Keigo Yoshida is an artist and scientist affiliated with Research Center for Music Science at Keio University Graduate school of Media and Governance. He explores music through the perspectives of neuroscience and computer science as machine learning, integrating insights into various forms of artistic expression, including audiovisual works, installations, and musical compositions.
His notable works include “liberated frequencies” (an audiovisual performance and installation in collaboration with METI and Rhizomatiks), “Reservoir Audio Visual Performance” (presented at TEDx KeioU Conference),
and “Artificial Heart Brain” (a project from Keio University’s Data-Driven Class that earned the Daito Manabe Grand Prize). Additionally, he worked on “Hanamizuki Reworked” feat. Yo Hitoto.
Beyond his creative endeavors, he has actively contributed to the field of music neuroscience. He performed an AI-driven showcase at the Tsukuba Conference For Future Shapers 2023 and presented his research internationally at The Neurosciences and Music – VIII Conference in Helsinki, Finland.
As a DJ and VJ, he also performs at various venues, including Zero Tokyo, CÉ LA VI Tokyo, Spincoaster Music Bar, and Kagurane Tokyo, continuously pushing the boundaries between science, technology, and artistic expression.
