Profile

Born in 2004. I was meet Japanese drum at the age of five in local shrine and start playing the Japanese drum at the age of six.

I performed about 300 times so far, and in the Fujii Lab I will conduct research on the relationship between Japanese drum and people and the physical movement and sound in Japanese drum from the perspective of a Japanese drum player in order to develop the world of Japanese drum.

I would also like to use my knowledge of manufacturing gained in high school to develop Japanese drums.

My favorite Japanese drums are o-daiko and okedo-daiko, and My favorite Japanese drum player is Taishi Yamabe.

My specialties are lathe turning and general machining such as welding.
