Jellyfish artist / Multimedia artist / Composer from Okinawa, based in Kanagawa. Exploring the fusion of biosignals — including jellyfish pulsation rhythms, brainwaves, and heart rate — with musical expression. Working at the intersection of biological rhythms and artistic expression, engaging in both research and creation of interactive music systems.
Key works include Sonic Rhopalia, a sound installation that converts jellyfish pulsations into real-time sound and lighting (exhibited at NIME2024 in Utrecht, Netherlands; ZOU-NO-HANA FUTURESCAPE PROJECT 2023 in Minato Mirai, Yokohama; and awarded 2nd Prize at ISCA2024 in Umeda, Osaka), and Orbis, a sound installation utilizing the periodicity of Min protein waves observed in artificial cells (exhibited and awarded Highly Commended at NIME2025 in Canberra, Australia).
